About Retro Radiance *

We’re Hannah and Andrew! A married creative duo based in Ottawa, specializing in elevated, photojournalistic style wedding photography and videography. We create timeless, emotionally resonant imagery for couples who value artistry, elegance, and quiet distinction. Our approach blends cinematic storytelling with refined detail, drawing inspiration from vintage Hollywood, dark academia, and the glamour of the 1960s and '70s.

Hannah

My love for photography began at eleven. I was drawn to its beauty and its power to preserve fleeting moments. As an Ottawa based wedding photographer, I bring a cinematic, photojournalistic style to every celebration. I focus on intimate glances, movement, and atmosphere: crafting images that feel intentional, emotive, and enduring. Since 2014, I’ve documented weddings across Ontario and Quebec, creating visual narratives that reflect each couple’s unique connection.

Outside photography, I’m equally obsessed with coffee and cinema. The ritual, detail, and creativity of both inspire how I shoot. Directors like Wes Anderson and cinematographers like Roger Deakins shape my visual language, while the process of pulling espresso reminds me to slow down and notice the smallest, most meaningful moments.

As a wedding videographer in Ottawa and Quebec, I’m drawn to storytelling through motion: capturing emotion with honesty and reverence. I strive to create films that feel cinematic but deeply personal, transporting you back to each special moment, laugh, and whispered promise.

My background in film and love of food fuels my creative process. Whether I’m behind the camera or in the kitchen, I value craft, intention, and connection.

Our Philosophy

From elegant city weddings in Ottawa to romantic countryside ceremonies in Quebec, we approach each celebration with calm, care, and creative vision. We’re inspired by a time when style was bold, details mattered, and elegance didn’t need to speak. It simply showed itself. Our work celebrates that spirit: sophisticated, emotional, and rich with story.

We believe that true beauty lies in presence. Think the flicker of candlelight, the texture of velvet, the quiet magnetism of a tailored suit. Whether through the stillness of a photograph or the movement of a film, our aim is to honor your day with depth, artistry, and intention.

Though our aesthetic is rooted in vintage influences, we approach each wedding with a modern perspective, one that celebrates the unique and distinctive connection between each couple. It’s our privilege to capture your story with grace, creating moments that are as unique as your love.

If you’re ready to preserve the essence of your wedding day through thoughtful and meaningful imagery, we’d love to connect and discuss how we can help bring your vision to life.
